I just wanted to thank you again for going far beyond the "call of duty" to help out a complete stranger in need of quick action. Please feel free to post this to your website and/or newsletter so I can share with your other customers and friends what an exceptional person I think you are.
As you know, my hobby is performing in local productions of Broadway musicals. I had the privilege of playing Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd in "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" in Tampa on November 3rd (this is the character played by Burt Reynolds in the movie!). He's a good ol' boy, a cuss'n, shoot'n, tough, southern sheriff from a time before everyone worried about being politically correct!
Just 3 days before the performance, I found that they hadn't arranged for a gun belt and holster for me to wear. They expected me to carry my .38 revolver in a cheap nylon holster worn on a regular pants belt. I couldn't even get the gun out of the holster to shoot it without having to hold the holster down with the other hand. Puh-leeze!!!!
So I went home after the rehearsal, did a Google search for gunbelts and holsters, and found your advertisement with the exact type of holster I needed.
Hoping to be able to leave a message on an answering machine explaining the plight and need for speed, I was astounded when you answered the business phone number at 9:30 p.m. I explained why I needed the holster in Tampa within two days, and was impressed and delighted when you said you'd check out the inventory of your store and/or your supplier the next morning, and would even check with the post office for express rates. You sounded like you enjoyed the challenge!
As you promised, you called me first thing the following morning with the wonderful news that you could get me the belt and I should receive it by Friday (the show was Saturday).
And then you even called me again on Friday to make sure it arrived!!! And I believe you were even happier than me to find out it arrived and was exactly what I was looking for, right down to the belt size!!! I've included a picture with this e-mail.
These days, when it seems that business people don't want to do much more than the bare minimum in servicing the needs of their customers, I feel very fortunate to have have stumbled onto your website!!! The quality of the belt was top notch, but it was your happy, positive, and enthusiastic attitude and efforts that really impressed me the most! It wasn't even an expensive item, but you made me feel like I was your most important customer!
So I wanted you to know that I think you're a gem!!!!! And I have no doubt that all of your customers have already discovered that for themselves!
You really saved the day, and in the process have won a friend and loyal customer for life!!!
