"CUSTOM" DRAFT Horse Saddles and Options
Styles of Stirrups:
A good "trail" stirrup and/or pleasure riding stirrup needs to have a wide tread to give your foot ample room for the ball of your foot to rest on especially if you will be riding for any length of time.
Hooded stirrups are wonderful for keeping your feet dry and warm in inclement weather. They work extremely well for use on children's saddles because the little foot cannot go thru the stirrup when you use the hooded stirrup. Many people like the hooded stirrups to protect their feet against brush and small trees etc.
Blevins Buckles:
All our custom saddles have Blevins buckles. In fact, we can leather-cover them if you want for minimal charge.
