I decided to create Horse Lover's Headquarters because of my intense love of horses and I want to share my knowledge, advice and stories with you.

Many years ago I opened a retail business shortly after graduating from high school. I actually had a real store with thirteen employees working for me, which lasted over 30 years. I sold English and Western horse tack and supplies along with western clothing, country line dancing duds, rodeo equipment, boots, jeans, hats and all the nifty accessories that go along with the equestrian and/or "wild west" theme.

Back in 1991, I retired from the business and moved from New York State to Pennsylvania. During these last 14 years, I've grown bored and wanting to get involved back in business selling horse items. So, I've decided to build myself a website and get back into retailing.

Many horses have blessed my life since 1962. Lot's of stories to tell, met thousands of fantastic people - so I have lots of experience too. At one time, I tried teaching horsemanship, but this little town is so small and we live too far from any major cities, so consequently no customers. But, I still have all my notes and I plan on sharing them with you.

This sums up my brief story. Hopefully I will find you some excellent products, keep prices very reasonable and ship merchandise out quickly and cheaply. I'm looking forward to this new venture....between you and me.
